ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. The proprietor will have regular contact with the Licensing Authority and the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary and will have involvement in local crime prevention initiatives.
2. Irresponsible drinks promotions will not be permitted, and the Standards for the Management of Standard Drinks Promotions produced by the British Beer and Pub Association will be complied with
3. There will be a regular collection of bottles, glasses and ashtrays from all public areas.
4. The Lighting in the garden and car park areas will be maintained.
5. Hot drinks and snacks will be available during opening hours.
6. An incident book and recorded details of all incidents or public disorder will be kept and made available for inspection by officers of relevant statutory bodies.
7. All means of escape will be maintained unobstructed, immediately available and clearly identifiable.
8. The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided will be maintained in good working order and their adequacy is determined on a regular basis by the carrying out of a fire risk assessment (as required by and in accordance with the fire precautions (workplace regulations). The applicant understands that the fire safety of occupants is also influenced by numbers of persons present, their disposition and the activities taking place, and therefore undertakes to maintain a safe occupancy limit.
9. The electrical system at the premises, including portable appliances will be inspected and tested annually by a competent person to ensure safety. (The installation will have a full inspection at least every 3 years and be tested annually. A competent person will be a qualified electrician who is qualified to complete works as per the I.E.E. wiring Regulations 16th Edition or is registered with the ECA or NICEIC.)
10. Where temporary electrical equipment is to be used, a suitable circuit breaker device will be installed to cover this equipment.
11. The circuit breaker should operate at a current not exceeding 30 MA and should comply with BS 4293.
12. The device will be tested monthly and tests will be recorded.
13. Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems will not be installed unless inspected by a suitable qualified electrician. Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems will comply with BS 7671 or where applicable BS7909.
14. The gas system including appliances will be inspected and tested by Corgi Registered Gas Engineer annually and a satisfactory gas safety certificate will be obtained.
15. All music and dance performed outdoors will cease at 10:30 pm.
16. The number of outside music events will be limited to 12 performances per annum.
17. All recorded music will cease at 12 midnight apart from the music from the jukebox.
18. The management will control noise levels of music and entertainment to ensure it is not intrusive to neighbouring residents.
19. Patrons will be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises or any car park; and asked to leave the vicinity quickly and quietly.
20. A proof of age policy agreed by the police and local authority will be enforced.
21. Notices will be displayed in the vicinity of any Amusement with Prizes machines installed in the premises prohibiting use by persons under the age of 18 years.
22. All Children to be off the premises by 10:30 pm unless attending a private family function or dining with a responsible adult over the age of 18 years old.
23. The licensable activities authorised by this licence will be confined to the areas that are shown by the legend on the plan accompanying the licence.
