ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. CCTV must be installed, operated and maintained to the satisfaction of the Licensing Authority.
2. CCTV recordings must be maintained for a period of 14 days or for a period of time to be agreed in writing by the Licensing Authority.
3. If the CCTV equipment is inoperative the Licensing Authority must be informed within 7 days and immediate steps to be taken to restore the equipment to full working order.
4. A notice must be displayed at the entrance to the premises advising that CCTV is in operation.
5. A crime prevention policy agreed by the Licensing Authority must be in place.
6. The premises will not have drinks promotions that would encourage excessive drinking or drunkenness, encourage antisocial behaviour or offend common standards of taste and decency.
7. Adequate and appropriate first aid equipment and materials will be available on the premises.
8. Amplified music or sound will not be played in the beer garden.
9. Staff will regularly patrol the premises, both indoors and outside, to supervise the orderly conduct of customers and to ensure that persons in the vincity are not unreasonably disturbed by noise.
10. Prominent, legible notices requesting people to leave the premises and the area quietly must be displayed at all exits.
11. Prominent, legible notices must be displayed in outdoor areas requesting patrons to respect the amenities of local residents.
12. In any room where regulated entertainment is to take place a noise limiting device must be installed and maintained to the satisfaction of East Devon District Council’s Environmental Health Service. The levels must be set by an Environmental Health Officer of East Devon District Council.
13. All ventilation and extraction systems installed and used in connection with cooking on the premises will be designed and maintained to prevent smells causing a nuisance to local residents.
14. A proof of age policy agreed in writing by the Licensing Authority must be enforced.
15. Any background music performed or played outdoors must be inaudible at the boundary of the premises.
16. An announcement must be made prior to closing to inform patrons to leave the premises and vicinity as quickly and quietly as possible.
17. All external windows and doors to any room where regulated entertainment is taking place must be kept closed except for access and egress.
18. Between the hours of 11.00 pm and 5.00 am food must not be sold for consumption off the premises.
19. The extent of the areas within which the various licensable activities are permitted will be as shown outined in RED on the plan submitted to and approved by the Licensing Authority.
