ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. All bottles and glasses must be removed from the public areas on a regular and frequent basis.
2. Radio equipment to provide two way communication between bar and door staff must be employed at all times that door staff are required and must be monitored by the licence holder or persons nominated by them.
3. An appropriate method must be employed for checking the number of people entering and leaving the premises and ensuring that once that maximum occupancy is reached, no further persons are admitted.
4. The licence holder must ensure that all staff receive appropriate training regarding emergency and general safety precautions and procedures.
5. The licence holder must ensure that all staff are aware of their social and legal obligations and their responsibilities regarding the sale of alcohol.
6. The telephone number of taxi operators must be prominently displayed at the premises for the benefit of customers.
7. All safety certificates and inspections reports must be kept on site and made available for inspection by officers of relevant authorities.
8. The licence holder must ensure that staff regularly patrol the premises both indoors and outdoors to supervise the orderly conduct of patrons.
9. Customers must be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises or car park and will be asked to leave the vicinity quickly and quietly.
10. The licence holder or persons authorised by them must control the volume of regulated entertainment taking place at the premises.
11. Suitable signage must be displayed in the patio and garden areas requesting patrons to respect the amenities of local residents.
12. No one under the age of 18 must be permitted access to the first floor of the premises while entertainment of an adult nature is taking place.
13. Children (under 16) must not be permitted on the premises unless in the company of an adult.
14. The licence holder must ensure that all staff receive training on acceptable forms of ID.
15. The use of the garden shall cease at midnight.
16. Suitable doorstaff registered with the Security Industry Authority must be employed from 9:00 pm until 30 minutes after the end of permitted hours on any day that licensable activities are to take place after midnight.
17. Door supervisors must be used at a ratio of 1:75 or as may be agreed in writing by the Licensing Authority.
18. Door supervisors must wear clothing that makes them clearly identifiable in that role.
19. A Door Supervisor must be employed in the beer garden from 10.00pm.
20. CCTV must be installed, operated and maintained to the satisfaction of the Licensing Authority and Chief Officer of Police.
21. CCTV recordings must be maintained for a period of one month or for a period of time to be agreed in writing by the Licensing Authority.
22. If the CCTV equipment is inoperative the Licensing Authority must be informed as soon as possible and immediate steps to be taken to restore the equipment to full working order.
23. A notice must be displayed at the entrance to the premises advising that CCTV is in operation.
24. No customers will be permitted to take open containers of alcoholic or soft drinks outside of the front of the premises.
25. Irresponsible drinks promotions must not be permitted, and the Standards for the Management of Responsible Drinks promotions including Happy Hours produced by the British Beer and Pub Association will be complied with.
26. On the ground floor live music must be performed by single or duo artists only.
27. The garden must be closed at midnight.
28. No entry to be permitted to the premises 1 hour prior to closing except for the authorised Officers of the District Council, Police and Fire Authority on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
29. Details of a sound insulation scheme and a schedule of works must be submitted to and approved in writing by an Environmental Health Officer for Pollution from East Devon District Council.
30. A noise limiter must be installed and maintained to the satisfaction of an Environmental Health Officer for Pollution from East Devon District Council.
31. Suffcient acoustic insulation must be installed to ensure that there is no noise escape from the premises.
28. The extent of the areas within which the various licensable activities will be permitted are as indicated by the legend on the plan submitted to and approved by the Licensing Authority.
