ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1 Membership of the local Licensees Committee shall be maintained.
2 An anti drug policy, agreed by the Police and Licensing Authority, will be in force.
3 The proprietor will ensure that the public using the premises at all times have access to a telephone to call a taxi and will be provided with details of telephone numbers to call a taxi.
4 A suitable door supervisor registered with the Security Industry Authority to be employed on any day that live music, recorded music, performance of dance and any entertainment of a similar nature is planned to takes place on the premises with the event being open to the public and continuing after 12 midnight.
5 The provision of plastic glasses and bottles will be reviewed depending on the type of entertainment provided, the number and behaviour of patrons attending.
6 The manager or senior member of staff will check the premises prior to opening and periodically during the hours that the premises are open to the public, to ensure there are no risks to patrons and that all safety precautions are in place.
7 Irresponsible Drinks Promotions will not be permitted, and the standards for the Management of Standard Drinks Promotions produced by the British Beer & Pub Association will be complied with.
8 The electrical system, including portable appliances will be inspected and tested annually by a qualified electrician who is registered with the NICEIC.
9 The Gas System, including appliances, will be inspected and tested by a CORGI registered gas engineer annually and a satisfactory Gas Safety Certificate will be obtained.
10 The fire fighting equipment will be inspected and tested annually and maintained in good working order. An annual service receipt will be obtained.
11 Patrons will be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises and asked to leave the vicinity quickly and quietly.
12 Regular glass, bottle and litter collection will be undertaken throughout opening hours.
13 Notices will be displayed on cigarette machines prohibiting use by persons under the age of 16 years.
14 Notices will be displayed on and in the vicinity of any Amusement with Prizes machines installed in the premises prohibiting use by persons under the age of 18 years.
15 A proof of age policy, to the satisfaction of the police and the Local Authority, will be in place.
16 Children under the age of 16 years will not be permitted to remain on the premises after 10.00 pm unless attending a private family party.
17 All children on the premises shall be supervised at all times by a responsible adult over 18 years of age.
18 If after the expiry of six months from the second appointed date the Licensing Authority serves written notice on the licensee requiring that CCTV be provided it will be installed, maintained and operated to the satisfaction of the Chief Officer of Police and Local Authority and the following conditions 19 - 21 also complied with:
19 Recordings will be maintained for an appropriate period of time (generally one month - but to be agreed with the Police and Local Authority
20 If the CCTV equipment is inoperative, the Police and Local Authority will be informed as soon as possible and immediate steps will be taken to put the equipment back into action.
21 A notice will be displayed at the entrance to the premises advising that CCTV is in operation.
