ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. If after the expiry of six months from the second appointed date the Licensing Authority serves written notice on the licensee requiring that CCTV be provided it will be installed, maintained and operated to the satisfaction of the Chief Officer of Police and Local Authority and conditions 2 to 5 also complied with.
2. CCTV will be installed, maintained and operated to the satisfaction of the Chief Officer of Police and the Licensing Authority
3. CCTV recordings will be maintained for an appropriate period of time (generally one month - but to be agreed with Police and Licensing Authority)
4. If the CCTV equipment is inoperative, the Police and Local Authority will be informed as soon as possible and immediate steps will be taken to put the equipment back into action.
5. A notice will be displayed at the entrance to the premises advising that CCTV is in operation.
6. Suitable door staff registered with the Security Industry Authority to be employed from 9.00 pm until 30 minutes after the end of the permitted hours on any day that live music or recorded music and any entertainment of a similar nature is planned to take place on the premises with event being open to the public and continuing after midnight.
7. All door staff will
a) Be correctly registered with the Security Industry Authority.
b) Display the correct name badge.
c) Carry proof of registration.
d) Be used at a ratio to be agreed by the Police and Licensing Authority which is currently 1:75.
8. All hall bookings shall be authorised by the Village Hall Management Committee and hirers will be required to complete a booking form and comply with the rules of hiring. A copy of these rules and the completed booking form will be kept on site and made available for inspection by officers or relevant statutory bodies.
9. The Committee will ensure that any person hiring the hall is aware of their social and legal obligations and responsibilities regarding the sale of alcohol.
10. Suitable signage will be displayed regarding the sale of alcohol and proof of age requirements.
11. The maximum occupancy figure for the Main Hall will be 215 persons or 130 persons if closely seated, and the maximum occupancy for the Games Room will be 100 persons in agreement with the Licensing Authority and Devon Fire & Rescue Service and based on fire safety issues, available floor space and the sanitary accommodation available. This figure is not to be amended without consultation and agreement by those Authorities.
12. All external doors and windows will be kept shut, other than for access and egress, in all rooms when events involving amplified music or speech or other entertainment are likely to give rise to noise.
13. All young persons under the age of 16 years will be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
14. The extent of the areas within which the various licensable activities will be permitted is as shown outlined in red on the plan submitted to and approved by the Licensing Authority.
