ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. A Committee Member must be available at any event where alcohol is sold or supplied at the premises.
2. There must be a written agreement between the Committee and any hirer of the hall which will include a risk assessment. Part of this risk assessment must ensure that when alcohol is sold or supplied at the premises there will be a proof of age policy in force and that consideration must be given to the employment of SIA registered doorstaff.
3. The licence holder must ensure that staff regularly patrol the premises both indoors and outdoors to supervise the orderly conduct of patrons.
4. Customers must be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises or car park and will be asked to leave the vicinity quickly and quietly.
5. The licence holder, or persons authorised by them, must control the volume of regulated entertainment taking place at the premises.
6. Suitable signage must be displayed in the patio and garden areas requesting patrons to respect the amenities of local residents.
7. An announcement must be made prior to closing requesting patrons co-operation in leaving the premises and vicinity as quietly and quickly as possible.
8. The Management Committee must ensure that the terms and restrictions of the licence are clearly on display at all times within the hall.
9. The Management Committee must ensure that all hall users are conversant with the layout of the hall in terms of safety and fire regulations.
10. The Management Committee must ensure that all hall users are fully conversant and adhere to the terms of the lease and licence.
11. The management committee must ensure that those using the hall behave in such a manner so as not to give cause for concern to residents and members of the public, be it on arrival, inside or vacating the premises.
12. The management committee must ensure that all necessary safety checks and inspection reports by service providers are current and on display.
13. The management committee must ensure that all first aid and safety equipment is adequate and current and that instructions for its use of are clearly on display.
14. The management committee must ensure that the number of patrons inside the hall on any one occasion does not exceed the capacity of the building.
15. The management committee must ensure that appropriate signage is displayed to remind those using the hall of their obligations to behave in such a manner so as not to give cause for concern to residents and that they must vacate the premises quietly.
16. The management committee must ensure that any music is kept to a sensible level inside the hall and that all windows and doors are kept shut whilst being played.
17. The management committee must make checks during the course of the hire and at lockup to ensure that the terms of the licence are being met.
18. The management committee must ensure that user groups provide appropriate supervisory persons to ensure that all due care and attention both in behaviour and activities prevail at all times when children are present.
19. The management committee must ensure that the hall provides a safe and secure environment for children.
