ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club.
2. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered.
3. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the businesses carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of alcohol so supplied, if the alcohol is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
4. No person carrying open or sealed bottles or glasses will be admitted to the premises at any time.
5. People carrying sealed bottles must only be admitted to the licensed premises with the permission of the Designated Premises Supervisor.
6. There must be regular glass and bottle collection from public areas of the premises during opening hours.
7. Irresponsible drinks promotions will not be permitted and the Standards for the Management of Standard Drinks Promotions produced by the British Beer and Pub Association will be complied with.
8. The Designated Premises Supervisor or people so authorised by them must ensure that all staff receive appropriate training regarding emergency and general safety precautions and procedures.
9. The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided must be maintained in good working order and their adequacy must be determined on a regular basis by the carrying out of a fire risk assessment as required by, and in accordance with, The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
10. A conspicuous notice clearly stating the location of the nearest telephone and the correct method of summoning the Fire Service must be displayed at the entrance to the premises.
11. Any reasonable requirements of the Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service must be complied with and there will be full co-operation with the Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary and the Licensing Authority in respect of issues of public safety.
12. AII means of escape from the premises must be kept free from obstruction.
13. The electrical systems at the premises, including portable appliances, must be inspected and tested annually by a competent person and a satisfactory report obtained. A competent person will be a suitably qualified electrician who is registered with the ECA and NICIE.
14. The gas system, including appliances, must be inspected and tested annually by a CORGI registered gas engineer and a satisfactory Gas Safety Certificate obtained.
15. All safety certificates and inspection reports must be kept by the Designated Premises Supervisor and made available for inspection by Officers or relevant statutory authorities. Copies must be held at the premises.
16. AII external windows and doors must be kept shut, other than for access and aggress, in all rooms when events involving amplified music or speech or other entertainment are likely to give rise to noise.
17. The Designated Premises Supervisor or person authorised by them, must control the volume of regulated entertainment taking place at the premises.
18. The use of the premises must not be or become a nuisance to nearby residents or passers by.
19. Only photographic proof of age must be accepted, i.e. passport, prove it card, photographic driving licence.
20. The premises must retain its status as a Rugby Club and must continue to operate with membership and club rules.
21. Suitably qualified door supervisors must be employed when the premises are open past midnight and both the provision of regulated entertainment and the supply of alcohol are taking place.
22. When required by condition 21 above door supervisors must be employed 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the entertainment until 30 minutes after the end of the entertainment.
23. Door supervisors must be used at a ratio of 1:75 or as may be agreed in writing by the Licensing Authority.
24. Where drinks are going to be consumed in outdoor areas they must be served in plastic or toughened glass.
25. Should there be any significant incidents of crime and disorder during the period of six months following the issue of the licence CCTV must be installed and maintained to the satisfaction of the Licensing Authority and the Chief Officer of Police.
26. The licensable activities authorised by this licence will be confined to the areas that are shaded in RED on the plan deposited with and approved by the Licensing Authority. The sale of alcohol is restricted to the areas shaded BROWN on the plan.
