ANNEXE 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED FOLLOWING A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY
1. Consideration will be given to setting capacity limits to prevent overcrowding which could lead to crime and disorder. Such capacity figures will be based on advice from the Police, Devon Fire & Rescue Service and Licensing Authority.
2. The requirements of all relevant Health & safety Legislation will be met.
3. The proprietors will not permit activities such as Hen or Stag parties, Young people’s parties or school proms to take place at the premises .
4. At the discretion of the Designated Premises Supervisor sufficient numbers of Door staff and or stewards, who are suitably trained, will be provided on the premises depending on the activities or entertainment taking place on site and the likelihood of overcrowding.
5. An adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials will be available for the use of patrons.
6. The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided will be maintained in good working order and their adequacy is determined on a regular basis by the carrying out of a fire risk assessment (as required by and in accordance with the fire precautions (workplace regulations). The applicant understands that the fire safety of occupants is also influenced by numbers of persons present, their disposition and the activities taking place, and therefore undertakes to maintain a safe occupancy limit.
7. The Designated Premises Supervisor or a senior member of staff will assess the impact of any noisy activities or entertainment at the start of the activity and periodically throughout the activity or entertainment.
8. The Designated Premises Supervisor, or such person so authorised by them, will control the volume of music or other apparatus used.
9. The management at the premises to ensure that staff are aware of social and legal obligations and responsibilities regarding the sale of alcohol.
10. Details of any marquees to be erected will be submitted for approval at least 28 days before the event is due to place, in writing, to the Licensing, Fire and Police Authorities.
11. No event shall take place at the premises shown outlined in red on the main plan deposited with and approved by the Licensing Authority where the number exceeds 2000 at any one time, subject to safe capacity limits for any particular licensable activity.
