ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. Alcohol must only be sold or supplied in sealed bottles or other containers.
2. Consumption of alcohol must not be permitted on the premises.
3. All staff must be trained in the licensing law to gain knowledge of the offences that can be committed.
4. Irresponsible drinks promotions must not be permitted, and the Standards for the Management of Responsible Drinks promotions including Happy Hours produced by the British Beer and Pub Association will be complied with.
5. The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided must be maintained in good working order, and their adequacy must be determined on a regular basis, by the carrying out of a fire risk assessment as required by, and in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The applicant understands that the safety of occupants is also influenced by the number of persons present, their disposition and the activities taking place and therefore undertakes to maintain a safe occupancy level.
6. The electrical system including portable appliances must be inspected and tested annually by a competent person to ensure safety.
7. Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems must not be installed unless inspected by a suitably qualified electrician. Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems must comply with BS7671 or where applicable BS7909.
8. All Safety Certificates and inspection reports must be kept on site and made available for inspection by officers of relevant statutory bodies.
9. All exit doors must be easily openable without the use of a key, card or similar means and must be available for egress while the public are on the premises.
10. Means of escape must be maintained and unobstructed, immediately available and clearly identifiable.
11. The delivery of goods must only take place during opening times.
12. Rubbish bins outside the premises must be kept to a minimum and only placed in situ during the opening times.
13. Ventilation equipment must be regularly cleaned and maintained to minimise the levels of odour generated by the premises.
14 Staff must challenge all persons who look under the age of 21 years of age and accept only recognised evidence of age to ensure that the only persons who will be served are those who no one could suspect are under 18 years of age.
15. The only forms of identification that must be accepted must be valid photo driving licence or passport.
16. Alcohol must not be displayed in any way so as to encourage children to come into contact with such products.
17. The licensable activities authorised by this licence will be confined to the area(s) as outlined in RED on the plan deposited with and approved by the Licensing Authority.
