ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. The management of the premises must ensure that all staff are aware of social and legal obligations and responsibilities regarding the sale of alcohol.
2. CCTV must be installed, maintained and operated to the satisfaction of the Chief Officer of Police and Local Authority.
3. Recordings must be maintained for an appropriate period of time (generally one month - but to be agreed with Police and Local Authority).
4. If the CCTV equipment is inoperative, the Police and Local Authority must be informed as soon as possible and immediate steps must be taken to put the equipment back into action.
5. A notice must be displayed at the entrance to the premises advising that CCTV is in operation.
6. The premises will operate a ‘Challenge 21’ policy; this policy is to ensure that under 18 year olds are not sold/supplied with alcohol.
7. The premises will operate a no ID, no sale policy.
8. A refusals book must be maintained and details of refused alcohol sales must be recorded and made available for inspection by officers of the relevant statutory authorities.
9. A proof of age policy agreed by the police and local authority must be enforced.
10. The check out tills must have an ‘age prompt’ for the information of staff when alcohol is sold.
11. The entrance and forecourt areas must be well illuminated in the interests of public safety.
12. The premises must comply with all Londis underage licensing initiatives.
13. The licensable activities authorised by this licence will be confined to the areas that are outlined in RED on the plan deposited with and approved by the Licensing Authority.
