ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. The Venue Managers will receive all relevant Health and Safety Data prior to the premises being opened to the public.
2. Radio contact between festival stewards and SIA Security staff will be maintained during the hours that the premises are open to the public.
3. The Licensee will ensure that all festival stewards receive training in safety routines prior to premises being opened to the public.
4. The licensee must fully comply throughout the duration of the licence with the Festival Safety Policy submitted to and approved by the Licensing Authority.
5. Entry to the premises will be by way of advanced ticket sales. There will be no sale of tickets on the door.
6. All security stewards will be correctly registered with the Security Industry Authority.
7. Vulnerable areas will be fenced off with security fencing.
8. Adequate lighting will be provided throughout the premises during the premises opening hours.
9. The licensee will have regular contact with the Licensing Authority and the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary throughout the period of the licence.
10. There will be periodic patrols of the premises by security staff in operation 24 hours a day.
11. The licensee must fully comply throughout the duration of the licence with the Risk Assessment submitted to the Licensing Authority. The Risk Assessment should be reviewed periodically throughout the duration of the licence and any alterations should be submitted to and approved in writing by the Licensing Authority.
12. The public will be informed of emergency procedures prior to the commencement of all events.
13. No smoking will be permitted within the marquees.
14. Adequate numbers of trained stewards will be on duty at all times that the premises are open to the public.
15. There will be adequate fire safety equipment at the premises.
16. An appropriate method for checking the number of people entering and leaving the premises will be employed and steps will be taken so that, once the maximum occupancy is reached, no further persons are admitted. The method to be employed will be electronic counting system.
17. All safety certificates and inspection reports for all equipment used will be kept on site and made available for inspection by officers of relevant statutory bodies.
18. Noise levels will be monitored and adjusted by the licensee’s sound engineers to Comply with the guidance given in the Health and Safety Executive Guidance Book’ ‘The Event Safety Guide’ (ref: HSG195).
19. Within the marquees children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
20. Adults with children must keep them under control at all times with the marquees.
21. All staff who will be in contact with or involved in instructing children will haved received a satisfactory CRB check.
22. The extent of the areas within which the various licensable activities will be permitted are as indicated by the legends on the plan deposited with and approved by the Licensing Authority.
