ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. The Venue Managers will receive all relevant Health and Safety Data prior to the premises being opened to the public.
2. Radio contact between festival stewards and SIA Security staff will be maintained during the hours that the premises are open to the public.
3. The Licensee will ensure that all festival stewards receive training in safety routines prior to premises being opened to the public.
4. The licensee must fully comply throughout the duration of the licence with the Festival Safety Policy submitted to and approved by the Licensing Authority.
5. All security stewards will be correctly registered with the Security Industry Authority.
6. Vulnerable areas fenced off with security fencing.
7. Adequate lighting will be provided throughout the premises during the premises opening hours.
8. Drinks purchased within the Dance Marquee must be consumed within the area defined as ‘Bar Consumption Area’ on the plan submitted to and approved in writing by the licensing Authority.
9. The proprietor will have regular contact with the Licensing Authority and the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary throughout the period of the licence.
10. The licensee must fully comply throughout the duration of the licence with the Risk Assessment submitted to and approved by the Licensing Authority.
11. The public will be informed of emergency procedures prior to the commencement of all concerts.
12. No smoking will be permitted within the marquee.
13. Adequate numbers of trained stewards will be on duty at all times that the premises are open to the public.
14. There will be adequate fire safety equipment on the premises.
15. An appropriate method for checking the number of people entering and leaving the premises will be employed and steps will be taken so that, once the maximum occupancy is reached, no further persons are admitted. The method to be employed will be electronic counting system.
16. Noise levels will be monitored and adjusted to comply with the guidance given in the Health and Safety Executive Guidance Book “The Event Safety Guide” (ref: HSG195).
17. During opening hours, and at the close of business, arrangements must be made for litter emanating from the premises to be collected from the immediate vicinity and stored inside the premises pending collection.
18. Children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
19. Bar staff will ensure that alcohol is not purchased or consumed by under age persons.
