ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. Alcohol sold for consumption on the premises will only be sold with food served to people seated at tables and eating meals ordered in the café, or as part of a tasting.
2. The sales area for off sales of alcohol will be located within the premises where there is an open layout, customers are conspicuous and the whole shop is well staffed.
3. The alcohol sales area will be in the direct line of view of the sales staff.
4. A full range of soft drinks will be available.
5. CCTV cameras which are installed must be maintained and operated to the satisfaction of the Chief Officer of Police and the Licensing Authority.
6. CCTV recordings must be maintained for an appropriate period of time (generally one month - but to be agreed with Police and Licensing Authority)
7. If the CCTV equipment is inoperative, the Police and Local Authority must be informed as soon as possible and immediate steps will be taken to put the equipment back into action.
8. A notice will be displayed at the entrance to the premises advising that CCTV is in operation.
9. The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided will be maintained in good working order and their adequacy is determined on a regular basis by the carrying out of a fire risk assessment (as required by and in accordance with the fire precautions (workplace regulations). The applicant understands that the fire safety of occupants is also influenced by numbers of persons present, their disposition and the activities taking place, and therefore undertakes to maintain a safe occupancy limit
10. Security lighting will continue to be present around the exterior of the shop.
11. The whole premises will be alarmed when not occupied.
12. To minimise the effect of littering, the applicant will provide litter bins both inside and directly outside the premises. During opening hours, and at the close of business, arrangements will be made for litter emanating from the business to be collected from the immediate vicinity and stored inside the premises pending collection.
13. The licensee will ensure that all staff are trained in all public safety issues and procedures at the premises.
14. The outdoor areas indicated on the plan will only be used during the day time and in suitable weather conditions.
15. The licence holder must ensure that all those responsible for the sale and supply of alcohol at the licensed premises are trained and aware of their social and legal obligations and responsibilities regarding the sale and supply of alcohol.
16. The management will have regular liaison with the Police and the Licensing Authority and will participate in all local crime prevention initiatives.
17. The licensable activities authorised by this licence will be confined to the area(s) outlined in RED on the plan deposited with and approved by the Licensing Authority.
