ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. A nominated person must be in attendance at the premises when the hall is open to the public.
2. In the absence of adequate daylight the lighting in any area accessible to the public must be fully operational.
3. The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided must be maintained in good working order, and their adequacy will be determined on a regular basis, by the carrying out of a fire risk assessment as required by, and in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
4. The nominated person, or persons authorized by them, must make arrangements to ensure that the maximum number of persons permitted to be on the premises at one time is not exceeded.
5. The Hall Committee must ensure that the condition of the building and activities at the premises do not endanger those present.
6. The electrical system at the premises, including portable appliances must be inspected and tested annually by a competent person to ensure safety.
(The installation must have a full inspection at least every 3 years and be tested annually. A competent person will be a qualified electrician who is qualified to complete works as per the I.E.E. wiring Regulations or is registered with the ECA or NICEIC.).
7. Where temporary electrical equipment is used, a suitable circuit breaker device must be installed to cover this equipment. The circuit breaker will operate at a current not exceeding 30 mA and must comply with BS 4293. The device must be tested monthly and the tests must be recorded in a log kept for the purpose.
8. Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems must not be installed unless inspected by a suitably qualified electrician. Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems must comply with BS 7671 or, where applicable BS 7909.
9. Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems, not installed by a suitably qualified electrician, must be inspected and certified by a qualified electrician before they are put to use.
10. The Gas System, including appliances, must be inspected and tested by a CORGI registered gas engineer annually and a satisfactory Gas Safety Certificate must be obtained.
11. An All safety certificates and inspection reports must be kept on site and made available for inspection by officers of relevant statutory bodies.
12. The nominated person, or persons authorised by them, must ensure that persons using the hall must be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises and asked to leave the vicinity quickly and quietly.
13. The nominated person, or persons authorised by them, must control the volume of amplified sound taking place at the premises.
14. The provision of recorded music will not include discos.
15. The Management Committee must ensure that there is adequate supervision in place when children under the age of16 years old are using the premises.
16. The licensable activities permitted by this licence are restricted to the areas that are outlined in ORANGE on the plan deposited with and approved by the Licensing Authority.
