ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. Alcohol will be supplied by off sales only pursuant to written or internet order and dispatched by recognised carrier.
2. Alcohol will not be sold to clientele calling at the premises.
3. Customers ordering alcohol will be required to confirm that they are over 18 years old.
4. Goods will be clearly marked as having to be signed for only by persons over the age of 18 years old.
5. The carriers selected by West Country Produce Ltd will have a policy to confirm that their drivers will only hand over alcohol to persons over the age of 18 years old and if in doubt to satisfy themselves by identification as to age or the goods are to be returned.
6. All exit doors will be easily operable without the use of a key card code or similar means and will be available for egress.
7. All means of escape will be maintained unobstructed immediately available and clearly identifiable.
8. Exits doors will be regularly checked to ensure they function satisfactorily. Records of these checks will be kept and produced on request.
9. All fire doors will be maintained effectively self-closing and shall not be held open other than by approved devices.
10. All gangways, exit ways, treads of steps or stairways will be maintained with non-slippery and even surfaces.
11. All floor covering will be secured and maintained so they will not ruck. Mats will be fitted into a mat well so as to be flush with the floor surface.
12. Hangings, curtains and temporary decoration will be maintained in a flame retardant condition.
13. Upholstered seating will be fire retardant and compliant with current Fire Safety Regulations.
14. Fire drill will be conducted monthly. Records of these tests will be made available to the Licensing Authority upon request.
15. All fire exits and means of escape will be signed in accordance with BS 5499.
16. Wall and ceiling finishes will be fire resistant.
17. When disabled people are employed or visiting adequate arrangements will exist to enable their safe evacuation in the event of an emergency.
18. Adequate and appropriate supply of First Aid equipment and materials will be available on the premises.
19. There will be a nominated First Aider.
20. The First Aider will check the First Aid equipment and materials at least once a month.
21. Fire Safety signs will be adequately illuminated.
22. Emergency lighting will not be altered.
23. Emergency lighting batteries will be fully charged before the admission of the public.
24. Emergency lighting tests will be conducted monthly.
25. Records of these tests will be made available to the Licensing Authority upon request.
26. All lavatories, urinals and wash basins shall at all times be kept in good order and repair and be properly and effectually cleaned, ventilated and disinfected and supplied with water and all necessary requisites and all doors leading thereto shall be suitably marked.
27. The premises will have a satisfactory NICEIC or ECA periodical electrical installation report. An inspection will be carried out every year and a new report obtained each time.
28 Once fitted the premises will have a satisfactory NICEIC or ECA periodic emergency lighting report. An inspection will be carried out every year and a new report obtained each time.
29. All safety certificates and inspection reports will be kept on site and made available for inspection by officers or relevant statutory bodies.
30. The premises will have a suitable Public Liability insurance in the sum of not less than £2,000,000.00 (Two Million Pounds). A certificate will be is obtained and displayed at the premises.
31. The premises will have a Certificate of Inspection for Portable Fire Fighting Equipment. An inspection will be carried out regularly and a new certificate obtained each time.
32. A crime prevention policy agreed by the police and licensing authority will be put in place if requested.
33. A proof of age policy agreed by the police and local authority will be enforced.
34. The licensable activities authorised by this licence will be confined to the areas that are outlined in RED on the plan deposited with and approved by the Licensing Authority.
