ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. Staff receives ongoing training as required by petroleum regulations and also training relating to underage sales and the safe and lawful sale of alcohol.
2. Details of all training are recorded in the site register.
3. We have a good relationship with local residents and feel that we would be approachable were there any concerns regarding the sale of alcohol.
4. CCTV will be installed, maintained and operated to the satisfaction of the Chief Officer of Police and the Licensing Authority
5. CCTV recordings will be maintained for an appropriate period of time (generally one month - but to be agreed with Police and Licensing Authority).
6. If the CCTV equipment is inoperative, the Police and Local Authority will be informed as soon as possible and immediate steps will be taken to put the equipment back into action.
7. A notice will be displayed at the entrance to the premises advising that CCTV is in operation.
8. We are registered with Citizen Card and only accept photo ID with a ‘Pass’ hologram, a full driving licence with a photo or a full UK passport.
9. We have a no ID, no sale policy.
10. A notice is displayed advising customers that if they look under 21 years old they will be asked for ID.
11. A Refusals Register is completed and maintained by staff.
12. We do not sell alcohol to persons who appear to be intoxicated.
13. We do not allow disorderly conduct on the forecourt and we do not allow customers to drink alcohol on the forecourt or in the vicinity of the premises.
14. The electrical system, including portable appliances will be inspected and tested annually by a competent person to ensure safety. A competent person will be a qualified electrician who is registered with the ECA or NICEIC.
15. Any gas system currently installed or installed in the future, including appliances, will be inspected and tested by a CORGI registered gas engineer annually and a satisfactory Gas Safety Certificate will be obtained.
16. All safety certificates and inspection reports will be kept on site and made available for inspection by officers or relevant statutory bodies.
17. An adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials will be available for the use of patrons.
18. All staff members receive regular fire training, details of which can be found in the site register.
19. Deliveries of goods are restricted to our normal working day.
20. Litter is picked up daily and stored in a bin with a tight fitting and lockable lid.
21. Staff members are aware that they must not serve persons who appear drunk, and that they must call the police immediately if disorderly conduct takes place. We have a ‘panic button’ which, when pressed, will alert the alarm company.
22. The sale by retail/supply of alcohol will be confined to the area outlined in RED on the plan deposited with and approved by the Licensing Authority.
