ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Conditions Consistent with the Operating Schedule
1. All Staff will be trained to deal with confrontational customers through a policy of refusing orders and notifying the police of such persons.
2. During busy periods a queuing process will be employed by the introduction of an entrance and exit door policy.
3. The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided will be maintained in good working order and their adequacy is determined on a regular basis by the carrying out of a fire risk assessment (as required by and in accordance with the fire precautions (workplace regulations). The applicant understands that the fire safety of occupants is also influenced by numbers of persons present, their disposition and the activities taking place, and therefore undertakes to maintain a safe occupancy limit.
4. An adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials will be available for the use of patrons.
5. Entrance and exit doors will not be blocked or obstructed.
6. The premises will be regularly inspected by the Health and Safety Authority.
7. To minimise the effect of littering, the licence holder will provide litter bins both inside and directly outside the premises. During opening hours, and at the close of business, arrangements must be made for litter emanating from the business to be collected from the immediate vicinity and stored inside the premises pending collection and containers used by the Premises will be distinctively coloured to ensure that this can be done.
8. Disruptive customers will be refused entry and service and the management will take steps to control numbers entering the premises.
9. Young persons under the age of 16 will not be permitted to enter the premises or be served after 9.00 pm.
