ANNEXE 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED FOLLOWING A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY
1. CCTV will be installed, maintained and operated to the satisfaction of the Chief Officer of Police and the Licensing Authority
2. CCTV recordings will be maintained for an appropriate period of time (generally one month - but to be agreed with Police and Licensing Authority)
3. If the CCTV equipment is inoperative, the Police and Local Authority will be informed as soon as possible and immediate steps will be taken to put the equipment back into action.
4. A notice will be displayed at the entrance to the premises advising that CCTV is in operation.
5. A proof of age policy agreed by the police and local authority will be enforced.
6. The manager or senior member of staff check the premises prior to opening to ensure there are no risks to patrons and that all safety precautions are in place.
7. The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided will be maintained in good working order and their adequacy is determined on a regular basis by the carrying out of a fire risk assessment (as required by and in accordance with the fire precautions (workplace regulations). The applicant understands that the fire safety of occupants is also influenced by numbers of persons present, their disposition and the activities taking place, and therefore undertakes to maintain a safe occupancy limit.
8. A noise limiter device capable of being sealed to be installed fitted and maintained to the satisfaction of the Corporate Director - Communities.
9. A senior member of staff will assess the impact of any noisy activities on neighbouring residential premises at the start of the activity/entertainment and periodically throughout the activity / entertainment.
10. Noise emanating from the premises will not be distinguishable above back ground levels and shall not cause a statutory nuisance.
11. All children on the premises shall be supervised at all times by a responsible adult over 18 years of age.
12. Customers ordering alcohol will be required to confirm that they are over 18 years old.
13. Goods containing alcohol will be clearly marked as having to be signed for only by persons over the age of 18 years old.
14. Staff undertaking deliveries will only hand over alcohol to persons over the age of 18 years and if in doubt will satisfy themselves by identification as to age.
15. A notice to be placed at the entrance/exit of the premises requesting that customers leave the premises quietly and courteously, taking into consideration the local residents.
16. All containers for rubbish and bottles shall not be placed outside between 10.00 pm and 9.00 am the following day, apart from the day of collection by waste disposal operator.
