ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Embedded Conditions Consistent with the Licensing Act 1964
1. The permitted hours to supply alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in the club premises where they are residing.
2. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict, during the first twenty minutes after the end of permitted hours the consumption of alcohol on the club premises.
3. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict, during the first thirty minutes after the permitted hours the consumption of alcohol on the club premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied for consumption as ancillary to the meals.
Conditions Consistent with the Premises Operating Schedule
1. The Club will continue to operate as it has done for so many years which operations are consistent in addressing the four licensing objectives.
2. No persons will be permitted to take open containers of alcohol or soft drinks from the premises.
3. The Masonic Club has a zero tolerance to illegal drugs and their use or supply on the premises will result in a report to the police and a banning from the premises.
4. The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided, will be maintained in good working order, and their adequacy will be determined on a regular basis, by the carrying out of fire risk assessment.
5. The Club Committee understands that the safety of occupants is also influenced by numbers of persons present, their disposition and the activities taking place, and therefore undertakes to maintain a safe occupancy level.
6. All exit doors will be easily operable without the use of a key, card, code or similar means and will be available for egress while patrons are on the premises.
7. Means of escape will be maintained, unobstructed and clearly identifiable with fire exits and means of escape appropriately signed in accordance with BS 5499.
8. Notices detailing the action to be taken in the event of fire or other emergency will be prominently displayed and maintained in good condition.
9. When disabled people are present adequate arrangements will exist to enable their safe evacuation in the event of an emergency.
10. A first aid box will be kept and maintained on the premises.
11. All lavatories, urinals and wash basins shall at all times be kept in good order and repair and be properly cleaned, ventilated and disinfected and supplied with water and all necessary requisites and all doors leading thereto shall be suitably marked.
12. The premises will be inspected on an annual basis by the Fire Authority and any matters that they require to be attended to will be carried out within a reasonable period of the request.
13. Consideration will be given to occupancy limits to prevent overcrowding and these limits will be based on advice from Police, Fire or Local Authority Officers from time to time.
14. All external doors and windows will be kept shut, other than for access and egress, in all rooms when events involving amplified music or speech or other entertainment are likely to give rise to noise.
15. Patrons will be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises and asked to leave the vicinity quietly and quickly.
16. Rubbish produced by the premises will be stored in a designated area and in suitable receptacles which will be emptied regularly.
17. Unaccompanied children are not permitted on the premises and any child on the premises taking part in a social event must be accompanied by a parent/ guardian/responsible adult.
18. The licensable activities authorised by this licence will be confined to the areas that are outlined in PURPLE on the plan deposited with and approved by the Licensing Authority.
