ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. A full risk assessment must be undertaken at the premises prior to normal retail operations starting.
2. Alcohol must be displayed in an area which can be clearly observed by shop staff.
3. All reasonable steps must be taken to avoid irresponsible behavior and avoid selling alcohol to persons who appear drunk.
4. Customers who behave unreasonably or commit offences will be banned and reported to the police.
5. CCTV to be installed operated and maintained to the satisfaction of the Licensing Authority.
6. CCTV recordings must be maintained for a period of one month or for a period of time to be agreed in writing with by the Licensing Authority.
7. If the CCTV equipment is inoperative the Licensing Authority must be informed as soon as possible and immediate steps to be taken to restore the equipment to full working order.
8. A notice must be displayed at the entrance to the premises advising that CCTV is in operation.
9. The premises must be alarmed and the alarm system maintained.
10. The Licence Holder must ensure that the shop premises and access points are clearly lit and free from obstructions at all times.
11. The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided must be maintained in good working order, and their adequacy will be determined on a regular basis, by the carrying out of a fire risk assessment as required by, and in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
12. The licence holder or people authorised by them must check the premises prior to its opening to the public in order to ensure there are no risks to patrons and that all safety precautions are in place.
13. Prominent, legible notices requesting people to leave the premises and the area quietly must be displayed at all exits.
14. The Licence Holder must ensure that all staff are aware of the social and legal obligations and their responsibilities regarding the sale of alcohol.
15. The licence holder must ensure that all staff received appropriate training regarding emergency and general safety precautions and procedures.
16. A challenge 25 policy must be employed where those individuals who appear to be under the age of 25 attempting to purchase alcohol must be asked for identification. The only type of identification that will be accepted is a PASS accredited ID, passport or photo driving licence.
17. Challenge 25 notices must be displayed on the shop floor in prominent positions.
18. The extent of the area within which the sale of alcohol is permitted will be as shown outlined in RED on the plan submitted to and approved by the Licensing Authority.
