ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1 Membership of the Local Licensees Association will be maintained.
2 The proprietor will have regular contact with the Licensing Authority and the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary and will have involvement in local crime prevention initiatives.
3 CCTV will be operated and maintained with internal and external cameras.to the satisfaction of the Chief Officer of Police and Licensing Authority.
4 Recordings will be maintained for an appropriate period of time (generally one month - but to be agreed with Police and Licensing Authority).
5 If the CCTV equipment is inoperative, the Police and Local Authority will be informed as soon as possible and immediate steps will be taken to put the equipment back into action.
6 A notice will be displayed at the entrance to the premises advising that CCTV is in operation.
7 Suitable crime prevention signage shall be displayed on the premises including a drugs policy and Licensing Association code of conduct.
8 Regular glass and bottle collection will be undertaken throughout opening hours.
9 The manager or senior member of staff will monitor the premises and customer behaviour at all times.
10 Consideration will be given to setting capacity limits to prevent overcrowding which could lead to crime and disorder.
11 This capacity figure will be based on advice from the Police, Fire or Licensing Authority.
12 The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided will be maintained in good working order, and their adequacy will be determined on a regular basis, by the carrying out of a fire risk assessment as required by, and in accordance with the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations.
13 When late night live music events are held at the premises entry shall be by pre-purchased tickets only.
14 Any live music played at the premises will cease by mid-night.
15 All external doors and windows will be kept shut, other than for access and egress in all rooms when live music continues after 11.00 pm.
16 Suitable signage will be displayed at the exit of premises to request the co-operation of patrons to make as little noise as possible when leaving the premises.
17 Patrons will be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises and asked to leave the vicinity quickly and quietly.
18 Regular litter collection will be undertaken throughout opening hours.
19 The delivery of goods will be restricted to the normal working day.
20 Bottle skips and bins containing cans or bottles will not be emptied outside after 10.00 pm, but will be dealt with the next day during normal office hours.
21 The telephone number of a local taxi firm will be displayed at the premises for the benefit of customers.
22 No under 18’s will be allowed in the bar and notices will be on display stating this policy.
23 A proof of age policy agreed by the police and local authority will be enforced and any customer who appears to be under the age of 21 years will be asked for proof of age.
24 Children will be allowed to use the outside tables if supervised at all time by a responsible adult over the age of 18 years old.
25 The manager or senior member of staff will check the premises prior to opening and periodically during the hours that the premises are open to the public to ensure there are no risks to patrons and that all safety precautions are in place.
26 The extent of the areas within which the various licensable activities will be permitted is as indicated by the legends on the plan accompanying the licence.
