  ANNEXE 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1.              a)              There shall be no sale or supply of alcohol when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of this premises licence or at a time when the said premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or when his/her licence is suspended.

                b)              Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

  ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  1.              Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied:

  (i)               Unless the premises have been structurally and bona fide used, or intended to be used, for the purposes of habitually providing the customary main meal at midday or in the evening, or both, for the accommodation of persons frequenting the premises; and unless the premises are bona fide used, or intended to be used, for the purposes of habitually providing for reward board and lodging, including breakfast and one other at least of the customary main meals;

  (ii)               On the premises otherwise than to persons taking table meals there and for consumption by such a person as an ancillary to their meal, or to persons residing there or there private friends bona fide entertained by them at their expense, and for consumption by such a person or their private friends so entertained by them either on the premises or with a meal supplied at but to be consumed off the premises.

  2.              The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the sale or supply to, or consumption by, persons residing at the premises or their private friends bona fide entertained by them at their own expense, and for consumption by such a person or their private friends so entertained by them either on the premises or with a meal supplied at but to be consumed off the premises.

  3.              Suitable beverages other than intoxicating liquor (including drinking water) shall be equally available for consumption with or otherwise as an ancillary to meals served in the licensed premises.

  4.              There shall be afforded in the premises, for persons provided with a board and lodging for reward, adequate sitting accommodation in a room not used or to be used for sleeping accommodation, for the service of substantial refreshment or for the supply or consumption of intoxicating liquor.

  5.              The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict, during the first thirty minutes after the permitted hours the consumption of alcohol on the premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied for consumption as ancillary to the meals.

  6.              The licensable activities authorised by this licence will be confined to the areas that are outlined in RED on the plan deposited with and approved by the Licensing Authority.  The restaurant area is outlined in GREEN and is marked ‘Bar/Dining’ on the deposited plan.
