ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Embedded Conditions Consistent with the Licensing Act 1964
1. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict on the licensed premises the sale or supply to, or consumption of alcohol by, any person residing on the premises.
2. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club.
3. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered.
4. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there.
5. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by them at their own expense, or the consumption of persons so supplied.
6. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the businesses carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
7. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces.
8. The sale by retail/supply of alcohol will be confined to the area(s) as outlined in
RED on the plan(s) accompanying this licence.
Conditions Consistent with the Premises Operating Schedule
1. The premises will be run and operated in a manner consist with the Operating Schedule served on the Licensing Authority at the time of application for this Premises licence.
2. The staff working on the premises will be trained to the standards required by the relevant legislation and as required by company policy.
3. The premises will be closed 30 minutes after the approved closure time for the supply of alcohol.
4. The need for door supervisors must be monitored and advice given by the police must be taken into account when doing so.
5. The premises will be a member of Pubwatch or an alternative local Licensees’ Association and a representative will attend Pubwatch or association meetings and participate in all initiatives.
6. Alcoholic and soft drinks will be served in plastic or toughened glasses.
7. Where existing CCTV is in place it will continue to be operated and maintained.
8. In line with the company’s Alcohol and Social Responsibility Policy there will be no promotions that encourage illegal, irresponsible or immoderate consumption.
9. The premises management must take reasonable steps to recognise the rights of local residents and to encourage customers to leave the premises quietly.
10. Managers must liaise with local neighbours as part of their duties and resolve any reasonable concerns in accordance with the company’s Role in the Community Guidelines.
11. Nothing of an adult nature will be permitted to be shown as a film in the licensed premises.
12. No adult entertainment (paid for by the company of a nude physical nature) will be permitted at the licensed premises.
13. The licensable activities authorised by this licence will be confined to the area(s) which are outlined in red on the attached plan.
