ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Embedded Conditions Consistent with the Licensing Act 1964
1. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict on the licensed premises the sale or supply to, or consumption of alcohol by, any person residing on the premises.
2. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club.
3. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered.
4. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there.
5. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by them at their own expense, or the consumption of persons so supplied.
6. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the businesses carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
7. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces.
Conditions Consistent with the Operating Schedule
1. A 30 minutes ‘drinking up’ time will allow for the appropriate dispersal of customers, use of lavatories etc.
2. The emergency lighting with which the premises are provided shall be maintained in efficient working order and be in operation during the whole time that the public are in the premises.
3. The exterior lighting will be maintained in the areas that are accessible to the public.
4. Membership of the Local Licensees Association will be maintained.
5. A rota system will be in place for checking the toilets.
6. The licensees/staff will monitor customer behaviour especially during busy periods.
7. All staff are trained in our disability policy and assistance is always available.
8. A HACCP policy is in place (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point).
9. There is always a minimum of two staff on duty at any one time.
10. We provide a drivers ‘shelf’ with a selection of soft drinks.
11. Drink drive posters will be prominently displayed on site.
12. A Health and Safety policy will be in place and adhered to.
13. A quarterly risk assessment will be carried out.
14. The emergency lighting with which the premises are provided shall be maintained in efficient working order and be in operation during the whole time that the public are in the premises. The existing system must illuminate all exit signs, doorways, steps and passages forming exit routes from the licensed premises and including the gardens and car park and shall be independent of the normal lighting system.
15. The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided must be maintained in good working order, and their adequacy will be determined on a regular basis, by the carrying out of a fire risk assessment as required by, and in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The applicant understands that the fire safety of occupants is also influenced by numbers of persons present, their disposition and the activities taking place, and therefore undertakes to maintain a safe occupancy limit
16. The electrical system, including portable appliances will be inspected and tested annually by a competent person to ensure safety. A competent person will be a qualified electrician who is registered with the ECA or NICEIC.
17. The Gas System, including appliances, will be inspected and tested by a CORGI registered gas engineer annually and a satisfactory Gas Safety Certificate will be obtained.
18. All safety certificates and inspection reports will be kept on site and made available for inspection by officers or relevant statutory bodies.
19. A pest control contract is in place with ROC.
20. An adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials will be available for the use of patrons.
21. The premises will have a trained first aider.
22. The premises will comply with the smoking charter.
23. An accident/incident book will be kept on site for staff and public.
24. Certificates held include Health & Safety and Health & Hygiene.
25. All of the windows are lockable and the entrances are lobbied thus reducing noise transfer.
26. The premises operate a managed customer departure and all of our customers are reminded verbally to leave the premises quietly.
27. The absence of television eliminates the potential for noise and boisterous behaviour often created by televised sporting events.
28. Irresponsible drinks promotions will not be permitted, and the Standards for the Management of Standard Drinks Promotions including Happy Hours produced by the British Beer and Pub Association will be complied with.
29. Cellar cooling condenser is positioned in an area so as not to cause nuisance to neighbours.
30. Amusement with prizes machines will not be located in the premises.

33. The cigarette machine is clearly visible from the bar
34. Unaccompanied children are not permitted on the premises.
35. Children are not permitted on the premises after 9:00 pm.
36. The outside area is completely enclosed.
37. The licensable activities authorised by this licence will be confined to the areas that are outlined in BLUE on the plan deposited with and approved by the Licensing Authority.
