ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. CCTV must be installed externally, operated and maintained to the satisfaction of the Licensing Authority.
2. CCTV recordings must be maintained for a period of 14 days or for a period of time to be agreed in writing by the Licensing Authority.
3. If the CCTV equipment is inoperative the Licensing Authority must be informed as soon as possible and immediate steps to be taken to restore the equipment to full working order.
4. A notice must be displayed at the entrance to the premises advising that CCTV is in operation.
5. Irresponsible drinks promotions must not be permitted, and the Standards for the Management of Responsible Drinks promotions including Happy Hours produced by the British Beer and Pub Association will be complied with.
6. Free drinking water must be made available at all times that the premises are open to the public.
7. A member of staff who has received appropriate training regarding emergency and general safety precautions and procedures must be on the premises when it is open to the public.
8. The licence holder must ensure that all staff is aware of the social and legal obligations and their responsibilities regarding the sale of alcohol.
9. Where drinks are going to be consumed in outdoor areas they must be served in plastic or toughened glass.
10. No persons must be permitted to take open containers of alcohol or soft drinks outside the perimeter area of the premises.
11. Prominent, legible notices requesting people to leave the premises and the area quietly must be displayed at all exists.
12. The licence holder must ensure that staff regularly patrols the premises both indoors and out to supervise the orderly conduct of patrons.
13. To minimize the effect of littering, the applicant must provide litter bins both inside and directly outside the premises. During opening hours, and at the close of business, arrangements must be made for litter emanating from the business to be collected from the immediate vicinity and stored inside the premises pending collection.
14. The licence holder, or people authorised by them, must control the volume of regulated entertainment taking place at the premises.
15. Live music must be for background only and must not include live bands.
16. The Licence Holder must liaise with the District Council and Police authorities as necessary to further the licensing objectives.
17. The premises must operate a ‘Think 21’ policy; any person who looks under 21 years of age must be asked for proof of age.
18. The ‘Think 21’ policy must be bought to customer’s attention through notices which must be prominently displayed.
19. The regulated entertainment authorised by this licence will be confined to the areas shaded in PINK and the sale of alcohol will be confined to the area shaded GREEN on the plan deposited with and approved by the Licensing Authority.
