ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Embedded Conditions Consistent with the Licensing Act 1964
1. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict on the licensed premises the sale or supply to, or consumption of alcohol by, any person residing on the premises.
2. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the sale of alcohol to a trader for the purposes of their trade or to a club with a Club Premises Certificate for the purposes of the club.
3. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered.
4. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there.
5. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by them at their own expense, or the consumption of persons so supplied.
6. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the businesses carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
7. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces.
8. The sale by retail/supply of alcohol will be confined to the area as shaded in red/pink on the plan attached to the licence.
Conditions Consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 Suitable door staff registered with the Security Industry Authority will be employed on any day that live music, recorded music, performance of dance and/or any entertainment of a similar nature is planned to take place on the premises with the event being open to the public and continuing after 12 midnight. Those doorstaff to be employed from 30 minutes prior to commencement of the event until 30 minutes after the event finishes.
2 CCTV will be maintained and operated to the satisfaction of the Chief Officer of Police and Licensing Authority.
3 CCTV Recordings will be maintained for an appropriate period of time (generally one month - but to be agreed with Police and Licensing Authority).
4 If the CCTV equipment is inoperative, the Police and Licensing Authority will be informed as soon as possible and immediate steps will be taken to put the equipment back into action.
5 A notice will be displayed at the entrance to the premises advising that CCTV is in operation.
6 Membership of the local licensees association shall be maintained.
7 Regular glass and bottle collection will be undertaken throughout opening hours.
8 An incident book will be kept in which full details of all occurrences of disorder are recorded. The incident book is to be kept on the premises at all times and shall be made available for inspection by a police officer or duly authorised officer of the Licensing Authority.
9 Irresponsible drinks promotions will not be permitted, and the Standards for the Management of Standard Drinks Promotions produced by the British Beer and Pub Association will be complied with.
10 An anti drug policy, agreed by the Police and Licensing Authority, will be in force.
11 Crime prevention and warning notices will be displayed on the premises in relation to drugs and underage drinking.
12 All safety certificates and inspection reports will be kept on site and made available for inspection by officers of relevant statutory bodies.
13 Adequate outside lighting will be maintained in the car park and rear patio areas until the last customer has left the premises.
14 Patrons will be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises or any car park and asked to leave the vicinity quickly and quietly.
15 The garden area shall not be used for the consumption of alcohol after 11.00 pm on any night. (Note. This does not prevent the Designated Premises Supervisor and his/her family and staff using the area for their own quiet enjoyment).
16 The playing of music will cease in the skittle alley at 11.00 pm.
17 Windows in all licensed areas must be closed after 11.00 pm when music is played in the premises.
18 Non alcoholic drinks will be available at all times
19 A proof of age policy agreed by the police and licensing Authority will be enforced.
20 All children on the premises shall be accompanied and supervised at all times by a responsible adult over 18 years of age and no children under the age of 16 years will be permitted to remain on the premises after 9.00 pm.
