ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Embedded Conditions Consistent with the Licensing Act 1964
1. The permitted hours to supply alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in the club premises where they are residing.
2. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict, during the first twenty minutes after the end of permitted hours the consumption of alcohol on the club premises.
3. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict, during the first thirty minutes after the permitted hours the consumption of alcohol on the club premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied for consumption as ancillary to the meals.
Conditions Consistent with the Operating Schedule
1. Entry to the club will be by way of a door entry card with a visual screen to the club bar.
2. The Club Committee, steward and bar staff will be trained to be aware of their duties under the Licensing Act 2003 and in particular the importance of complying with this Act and ensuring that customers comply with it and with the requirements of the criminal law.
2. The standard club rules will be displayed within the club.
3. The staff will be responsible for monitoring persons entering the premises. Guests will not be admitted unless accompanied by a club member.
4. Club employees are instructed not to admit or serve any members or guests who behave in a drunk or disorderly fashion.
5. Members and guests will be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises and asked to leave the vicinity quickly and quietly at closing time.
6. All staff will be trained in all aspects of Health and Safety and updated on a regular basis.
7. The club will liaise with the local police and comply with any advice given by that authority.
8. Fire advice notices will be prominently displayed and all emergency escape routes will be clearly marked.
9. The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided will be maintained in good working order and their adequacy is determined on a regular basis by the carrying out of a fire risk assessment (as required by and in accordance with the fire precautions (workplace regulations). The applicant understands that the fire safety of occupants is also influenced by numbers of persons present, their disposition and the activities taking place, and therefore undertakes to maintain a safe occupancy limit
10. A senior member of staff (Committee member or person authorised by a committee member) will assess the impact of any noisy activities on neighbouring residential premises at the start of the activity/entertainment and periodically throughout the activity/entertainment
11. All external doors and windows will be kept shut, other than for access and aggress, in all rooms when events involving amplified music or speech or other entertainment are likely to give rise to noise.
12. Membership of the club is restricted to those of the age 18 years and over.
13. Children and Grandchildren of members are permitted in the club but they must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
14. Children are not allowed within 2 metres of the bar serving area.
15. Children are not allowed to play the gaming machines even if supervised.
16. Notices will be displayed in the vicinity of any gaming machines installed in the premises prohibiting use by persons under the age of 18 years.
17. The gaming machines will be situated in sight of the bar and will be supervised by the bar steward, staff and members of the committee.
18. A proof of age policy agreed by the police and local authority will be enforced.
19. The licensable activities authorised by this licence will be confined to the areas that are shaded in PINK on the plan deposited with and approved by the Licensing Authority.
