ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Embedded Conditions Consistent with the Licensing Act 1964
1. The permitted hours to supply alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in the club premises where they are residing.
Conditions Consistent with the Operating Schedule
1. The Bar Steward and all permanent bar staff will receive suitable training on licensing issues.
2. Adequate external lighting for persons leaving the premises will be provided and maintained.
3. Escape routes will be maintained in good order and will be conspicuously marked.
4. Occupancy figures for the premises will be limited for events held during extended hours. Occupancy figures to be set in agreement with the Licensing Authority and Devon Fire and Rescue, based on fire safety issues, available floor space and the sanitary accommodation available.
5. Seating will be available within the main function room when regulated entertainment is taking place at the premises.
6. The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided will be maintained in good working order, and their adequacy will be determined on a regular basis, by the carrying out of a fire risk assessment as required by, and in accordance with the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations.
7. Patrons will be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises or any car park and asked to leave the vicinity quickly and quietly.
8. All external doors and windows will be kept shut, other than for access and egress, in all rooms when events involving amplified music or speech or other entertainment are likely to give rise to noise.
9. The Bar Steward or a senior member of staff will assess the impact of any noisy activities on neighbouring residential premises at the start of the activity/entertainment and periodically throughout the activity/entertainment
10. Suitable signage at the exit to request the co-operation, of patrons in particular, to be as quiet as possible when leaving the premises and to request patrons to respect the privacy of nearby residences.
11. Children will not be permitted to remain on the premises after 08.00 pm.
12. The boundary of the areas licensed by this Club Premises Certificate is that shown outlined in RED on the plan deposited with and approved by the Licensing Authority. The licensable activities authorised by this Certificate are confide to the areas outlined in PINK on the plan.
Note: The Premises certificate does not permit ‘Off’ sales and therefore alcohol purchased/supplied by virtue of the Club Premise Certificate can not be taken out of the area outlined in RED on the plan which accompanies the certificate.
