ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Embedded Conditions Consistent with the Licensing Act 1964
1. The permitted hours to supply alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in the club premises where they are residing.
2. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict, during the first twenty minutes after the end of permitted hours the consumption of alcohol on the club premises.
3. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict, during the first twenty minutes after the permitted hours, the taking of alcohol supplied in club the premises from the premises unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel.
4. The permitted hours to sell alcohol on this licence do not prohibit or restrict, during the first thirty minutes after the permitted hours the consumption of alcohol on the club premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied for consumption as ancillary to the meals.
5. The sale by retail/supply of alcohol will be confined to the area(s) as outlined in RED and shaded PINK on the plan deposited with and approved by the Licensing Authority.
Conditions Consistent with the Operating Schedule
1. The Committee will ensure club and bar are run correctly with special care to laws, rules and restrictions.
2. The Committee will ensure that everyone concerned with the club’s operation will be kept updated on all matters including changes to the law.
3. Bar staff and volunteers will receive full training on a regular basis.
4. Gangways, exit routes and steps will be maintained in good order with non-slippery and even surfaces; edges of steps and stairways will be conspicuously marked.
5. A proof of age policy agreed by the police and local authority will be enforced.
6. An anti drug policy, agreed by the Police and local authority, will be in force.
7. The club will ensure that its expected code of practice is clear and is available in a readable place.
8. The club will ensure that members and guests are not served alcohol when they have already consumed too much.
9. The fire safety measures with which the premises are provided will be maintained in good working order and their adequacy is determined on a regular basis by the carrying out of a fire risk assessment (as required by and in accordance with the fire precautions (workplace regulations).
10. The Club Committee understands that the fire safety of occupants is also influenced by numbers of persons present, their disposition and the activities taking place, and therefore undertakes to maintain a safe occupancy limit.
11. An adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials will be available for the use of members and guests.
12. All persons who work behind the bar will be trained in all aspects of public safety.
13. The Club will ensure that noise is kept down to a reasonable level at all times.
14. A member of the Committee or a person nominated by the Committee will assess the impact of any noisy activities on neighbouring residential premises at the start of the activity/entertainment and periodically throughout the activity/entertainment
15. A Committee member, or such person so authorised by the Committee, will control the volume of music or other apparatus used.
16. During opening hours, and when the club closes, arrangements will be in place to ensure litter emanating from the club is collected from the car park area and stored inside the premises pending collection.
17. The club will check that cars leave quietly and at sensible speeds.
18. The Club will listen to any complaints from neighbours and address them immediately
19. The Club will ensure that heated situations are defused immediately.
20. All children on the premises shall be supervised at all times by a responsible adult over 18 years of age.
21. Notices will be displayed in the vicinity of any Amusement with Prizes machines installed in the premises prohibiting use by persons under the age of 18 years.
22. Children will only be permitted to use plastic glasses.
23. The club will ensure furniture is child friendly.
24. The club will keep children away from the car park with car park patrols.
25. The club will ensure there are safe games, books, etc for children to occupy themselves.
