ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. No drinks or food must be served to customers in glass receptacles.
2. The premises licence holder must work in partnership with the local Police to prevent crime and disorder.
3. CCTV must be installed, operated and maintained to the satisfaction of the Licensing Authority and the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with the requirements set out in the EDDC Licensing Policy.
4. CCTV images must be retained for a minimum of 14 days and to be produced on the request of the Police or a Licensing Officer of East Devon District Council. Recording media must be set to 25 frames per second.
5. The CCTV system must be operational at all times whilst the premises are trading. If the system is faulty or not working then the Police and East Devon Licensing Service must be informed immediately. Details of the malfunction must be recorded in the premises incident book.
6. A4 sized warning notices must be displayed in public areas of the premises and at all entrances advising that CCTV is in operation. The signs located at entrances should be located on the exterior of the building at, and adjacent to, all public access doors. All signs must comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 2002.
7. CCTV Cameras must be installed to ensure monitoring of the restaurant car park, in particular the entrance/exit.
8. The licence holders must ensure that the restaurant has safety systems in place to protect the safety of customers and staff at all times. These systems must be regularly reviewed and updated where appropriate.
9. Our restaurants are routinely inspected by the local Environmental Health Office and we will work with them and the local Fire Service to ensure we are complying, as far as reasonably practicable, with relevant Health and Safety and Fire Safety Legislation.
10. The restaurant will be subject to inspections from our own safety and security teams to ensure our systems are being maintained.
11. All restaurant staff must be required to attend comprehensive safety training to ensure that safe working methods are adopted.
12. All staff must be trained in evacuation procedure in the event of a fire or other dangerous occurrence.
13. The store must operate a "No Open Alcohol Containers" policy to prevent persons carrying open alcohol into the in-store area.
14. Emergency contact mobile telephone numbers must be listed and available in the Business Manager's office.
15. The restaurant must work in partnership with the local Fire Service and Environmental Health Officer to ensure public safety.
16. The premises must introduce litter patrols to collect McDonald's packaging and other litter within a reasonable radius of the restaurant.
17. All of McDonald's packaging must display the "Bin It" symbol to encourage customers to deal with their waste responsibly.
18. The premises must act on recommendations from the Environmental Health Officer if they feel that the premises should extend their litter patrols to a nearby area, as far as this is reasonably practicable.
19. The premises must have measures in place to limit noise. Doors must be self closing and staff should encourage customers to be considerate to neighbours and limit noise both when ordering their food and on leaving the local area.
20. McDonald's do not anticipate that children will use the restaurant in the extended hour's period but they do however take their safety extremely seriously and must continue to employ the same practices to ensure that they are protected from harm at all times when visiting the restaurant.
21. All restaurant staff must be required to attend comprehensive safety training.
