ANNEXE 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED FOLLOWING A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY
1. Suitable signage will be displayed at the exits of the premises to request the co-operation, of patrons in particular, to make as little noise as possible when leaving the premises. Signs must also be prominently displayed in the car park area.
2. An announcement will be made prior to closing requesting patrons’ co-operation in leaving the premises and vicinity as quietly and quickly as possible.
3. When employed door staff will be positioned at exits, particularly at closing times.
4. CCTV to be installed maintained and operated to the satisfaction of the Licensing Authority and Chief Officer of Police to cover the entrance and the external area of the premises in Dolphin Court.
5. Door Supervisors
a. Suitable door staff registered with the Security Industry Authority to be employed from 8.00 pm until 30 minutes after the end of permitted hours on any day that live music, recorded music, performance of dance and any entertainment of a similar nature is planned to takes place on the premises with the event being open to the public and continuing after 12 midnight.
b. All doorstaff will:
(a) Be correctly registered with the SIA
(b) Display the correct name badge
(c) Carry proof of registration
(d) Be used at a ratio to be agreed by the Police and Local Authority, which is currently 1:75, therefore there will be a requirement for 4 doorstaff on the club premises if operating at full capacity
(e) A female supervisor will be available if searches are to be conducted on female customers
(f) Will wear clothing that can be easily and clearly identifiable on CCTV - i.e. wear a reflective number between 1 and 99 (at least 100mm high) in a prominent position on the upper part of the body
(g) Will be in attendance at the entrance of the premises from 8pm until the main exit doors to the premises are closed, and any time when patrons may be queuing for access
6. No persons shall be allowed entry to the premises less than one hour prior to the closing on Friday and Saturday other than officers of statutory authorities.
7. Irresponsible drinks promotions will not be permitted, and the Standards for the Management of Standard Drinks Promotions produced by the British Beer and Pub Association will be complied with.
8. A policy will be in force for the management of large groups, e.g. hen and stag parties. The group will be required to nominate a responsible person to liaise with staff.
