ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. Regular liaison with the Licensing Officer at the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary and Licensing Authority will be maintained whose advice will be followed on all matters regarding the use of the hall.
2. All recommendations made by the Devon Fire and Rescue Service will be adhered to.
3. The electrical system, including portable appliances will be inspected and tested annually by a competent person to ensure safety.
4. Where temporary electrical equipment is to be used, a suitable circuit breaker device will be installed to cover this equipment. The circuit breaker should operate at a current not exceeding 30 mA and should comply with BS 4293. The device will be tested monthly and tests will be recorded.
5. Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems will not be installed unless inspected by a suitably qualified electrician. Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems will comply with BS 7671 or, where applicable BS 7909.
6. Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems, not installed by a suitably qualified electrician, will be inspected and certified by a qualified electrician before they are put to use.
7. Any Gas System, including appliances, will be inspected and tested by a CORGI registered gas engineer annually and a satisfactory Gas Safety Certificate will be obtained.
8. Any oil fired boilers and appliances will be inspected and tested annually and an OFTEC certificate of inspection will obtained
9. All safety certificates and inspection reports will be kept on site and made available for inspection by officers of relevant statutory bodies.
10. Suitable signage at the exit to request the co-operation, of patrons in particular, to make as little noise as possible when leaving the premises.
11. Any events held on the premises after 8.00pm children will only be allowed when accompanied by an adult.
12. The licensable activities permitted on this licence will be confined to the areas outlined in RED on the plan deposited with and approved by the Licensing Authority.
